Early Career Researcher (ECR) bursary

 

Thanks to the support of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA), Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) and Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) are pleased to be able to provide a limited number of bursaries to early-career researchers to help support their attendance to our conference.

Who is eligible to apply?

The fund is open to early career researchers (ecr) with a research focus on Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia, who began their research career within the last five years or are currently studying for a PhD. Priority will be given to applicants from low and middle income countries and to those who have not attended an ADI conference before.

Support available

We are offering up to 6 travel and accommodation bursaries for early-career researchers as follows:

  • For a researcher based in Singapore,  SGD 700 / USD 511
  • For a researcher based outside Singapore, SGD 2,000 / USD 1,460

(please note that exchange rates may vary the amount awarded slightly)

Carer bursary

 

Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) is delighted to be able to offer a limited number of bursaries to help support the attendance of family carers to the 34th International Conference of Alzheimer’s Disease International, 19-21 March 2020, Singapore.

Who is eligible to apply?

The fund is open to family carers or recent ex-carers. Priority will be given to applicants from low and middle income countries and to those who have not attended an ADI conference before.

Support available

We are offering representatives a travel and accommodation bursary of up to US$1,000 per person. Where an applicant believes that $1,000 would exceed the funding needed to cover their costs, applicants should state how much they would like to apply for. This funding does not include the registration fee for the conference.
